This summer Joe is a featured performer for the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services Summer Reading Program.  Click on the poster to find out more information about the program and the rest of the talented artists performing across the state.

Joe will be presenting two different shows this summer.  In his Children's program you'll hear tales of unlikely young heroes who rise to the challenge even when everyone tells them it's impossible. Learn the legend of the princess who wants to become the greatest baseball player of all time even if her father, a dragon, and an entire country stands in her way.  Also, discover the secret lives of the stick people in our road signs and the boy who yearns to be more than just a flat symbol.

Joe is also bringing his Teen program "Indestructible, Not Invincible" to a select few libraries this summer.  This is a collection of personal stories from Joe's childhood about the difficulties of growing up and surviving through the powers of perseverance and imagination.  This show contains some mature subject matter and is recommended for ages 13 and up.
